Well folks with the start of every exciting new adventure, another must end.

We have had the most amazing time with y'all here in Sou'West Nova, but we are about to leap into our next adventure in Trenton ON April 30th!

No farm this time around, though you know I'll have the most amazing raised veg beds in all the lands lol.

Thanks to everyone for all your support, teachings, and friendship.

The time has come to start moving Livestock off the farm, so stay tuned.

To get started we're listing Morgan (BFS MY FANCY MORGAN) registered with The American Miniature Horse Association.

She's 18 years young and desperately wants to get back in action.

Here's her resume
Been ridden by children in western and ba****ck, barrels and poles, gymkhana, not sure about any English history but will lead over low jumps.
She has been ground driven and started a wee bit on cart.
She has also done a ton of showmanship, parades, classes, teaching and learning.
She ties, trailers, farriers and vets etc absolutely fine.
She's lived with horses big and small, cows, goats, cats, chickens, and ducks. Not too much phases her.

She has been on pasture the last few months so will need some ground work to lose those extra pounds 😉

Buck Registered, 6 Does registered (7th could be just hasn't been done from breeder) Whether registered.

Not UTD on testing but closed herd, closed farm since last testing.

Willing to part out some specific ones, but would prefer to sell as a herd as some are life bonded.

**All about Muscovy ducks for the farm and homestead**

Muscovy ducks are a popular choice for farming because they are easy to care for, produce nutritious meat and eggs, and are resistant to disease.
They can be raised in free-range or confined systems.

Meat production
Muscovy meat is lean, high in protein, and rich in iron
Some say the breast meat tastes like ham or veal.

Egg production
Muscovy ducks are good egg producers
Muscovy ducks can lay up to 180 eggs per year

Other uses
Muscovy ducks can be used for pest control and are ferocious eaters of ticks, slugs, most pests, and mosquito larvae in standing water.
They can be used as guard birds
They can be kept for companionship due to their friendly nature.

Care
Muscovy ducks can adapt to many environments
They require less feed than other ducks
They are less susceptible to disease
They can be raised naturally and supplemented with kitchen fruit and veg scraps, and are amazing foragers leading to my h lower feed bills late spring through fall.
They are happy to nest ground level where they feel safe.

Temperament
Muscovy males can be aggressive towards other males during breeding season
Females can be protective of their eggs and babies
