🫛Snow Peas 🫛

Happy Sunday Fresh Food Enthusiasts! I love snow pea season. This is my FAVOURITE veggie and the short time they are here (about a month) makes them so special. The BEST part is that they add both protein AND fibre to your diet which is something most of us are deficient in. Eat them with some hummus and you have an incredibly tasty and healthy snack.

We have lots of snow peas for you today, along with lettuce mix, kale, romaine, green onions, chard and garlic scapes!

Open 10am-4pm today.

Please indulge me a moment to brag about my amazing daughter Shannon who just represented Canada at the World Powerlifting Championships this past week in Lithuania.

It was her first World Championship (she is two time National Champion and holds national records) and she finished 10th overall!

Such proud mom.

Good morning Fresh Food Enthusiasts!

You are all so awesome! We had such a great turnout yesterday that we sold out of all our produced except lettuce mix (we make sure we ALWAYS have lots of this best seller) and chard.

The farm stand will be open a little late as we were up at 4:30am to plant out the remaining ginger before the heat.

If you need some great lettuce for a nice cool salad this warm day then pop by and grab some!

Good morning Fresh Food Enthusiasts!

The farm stand is open this weekend, and we have our first harvest of snow peas! Quantities are very limited this week, but production should increase quickly over the next couple of weeks. If you've been waiting for fresh local snow peas, come early—they're delicious as always.

We also have the last of our rhubarb muffins on the stand this weekend. A new muffin flavour will be arriving next weekend!

The warm weather is finally here, and our snow peas 🫛 are loving it! We expect to have fresh snow peas available both Saturday and Sunday.

We’ll also have:

Fresh-picked, seasonal, and grown right here on the farm.

🌱 Snow Pea Season Is Here! 🌱

Our snow peas are sizing up beautifully and will be ready for harvest this week. Crisp, sweet, and incredibly fresh, they're one of the first tastes of summer—and a customer favourite every year!

We grow over 5,000 snow pea plants, so the farm stand will be well stocked for the next few weeks.

Snow peas are wonderfully versatile:
🥗 Slice them into salads
🫛 Enjoy them fresh with hummus
🍳 Stir-fry or sauté them
🚶 Or simply snack on them straight from the bag!

What is YOUR favourite way to eat snow peas?!

Available at the farm stand beginning Saturday, June 13.

Can't make it to the stand? Send us a message to reserve a bag starting Thursday and pick up at your convenience.

As with all of our produce so far this season, we've kept our prices the same as 2024 to help keep fresh local food affordable.

Good morning Fresh Food Enthusiasts!

The farm stand is open today 10:30-4pm and Farmer Tracey made a fresh batch of rhubarb muffins (they are still cooling lol)!

Today in the farm stand we have:

-Lettuce Mix
-Rhubarb Muffins
-Golden Baby Beets
-Red Baby Beets
-Green Onions
-Basil Plants

Next weekend we’ll be harvesting our much loved snow peas!
