Come visit us today at the Centre for our weekly Food Market AND our first community lunch of the season. Lunch is upstairs from 12:30-1:30pm, pay what you can. The market runs from 1-4pm and has a wide selection of produce, meats, soups and meat pies from local producers:

Just shy of 2 pounds of Wolf River apples. They're huge, but not very heavy! Modelled by the lovely, and incredibly smart Gabriella.

Wolf River were often just referred to as "pie apples" because you only needed one to make a pie!

(Those of you who remember Gabriella with a sling last year will be happy to hear that she has shed her binding early from this year's 2 broken collar bones. I did suggest that she play chess instead of contact sports)

I'm a bit behind on posting which apple varieties are ready. I misplaced my phone for a month! Good news is that it wasn't in the freezer, where I once found my Kobo e-reader. Our friend and employee Carlos Seemungal found it hiding in Pat's truck.
