We are stranded, no not by tornadoes, the road ahead of us is washed out, and behind is too steep and muddy for the camping units to make it up the hill. So we are making the best of an awesome situation.

This is a cool one.

We all know and love Soave, this is the rarer Recioto style, made by harvesting healthy ripe bunches of grapes and hanging them to dry to concentrate, well everything.

The results are sweet and oh so freaking good. Golden fig, apricot, honey, candied lemon, caramel, peach…..
