The ‘Biotanic garden’ name refers to our mission to reduce the environmental impact of food production through a hyperlocal urban farming model that creates a culture of health and vibrant ecosystems by creating a biodiverse environment through organic farming. ms within a neighborhood's network of front, side and backyards. Biotanic Garden "sharecrops" with homeowners, offering a small percentage of each harvest to the host family. The remaining produce is sold to through a handful of local chefs, specially in Banff and Canmore. And the left over is sold to the Bow valley residents : from Cochrane to Banff.
