These sweet peppers can start turning red any day now! Look how big and beautiful they are.

My dad plants and takes care of the sweet pepper rows each year as I can never seem to have such a nice crop as him. I think the secret is deep composting trenches.
Everything else I can seem to make bountiful, except peppers! Dads to the rescue 🥰

Restocked Brynn’s Fresh Market with some fresh sunnies to brighten up this gloomy week!

Also picked up some lunch for myself and my hungry farmer and some giant portobello mushrooms for dinner and banana bread that was still warm!

Everything here is so fresh and I counted so many local goodies on the shelves. If you haven’t already checked them out, be sure to do it!

Question for our customers!:

For the past couple years, we have been supplying WHOLE pasture raised chicken. I’ve had a couple people ask if we sell breasts/legs/wings separated.
We don’t as that would drive the cost up and we are all about trying to keep things affordable. However, I do know that people will pay for a good product too, especially if it’s more convenient.

Is there any interest in just breasts and certain chicken cuts? Please comment or message us below with your input. We would be happy to do some cuts at the next butcher if there is enough interest. The prices will be a little higher, but this is purely just from extra processing fees.

I made my hungry farmer a hearty salsa using everything from the garden (Tomatos, onions, garlic, green peppers, jalapeño and celery leaves in place of cilantro) mix with a dash of lemon juice, salt&pepper. Serve with tortia chips. Refreshing and filling!
