Look who showed up for a little forest meeting.

A whole bunch of stump puffballs tucked into the woods. They grow on old wood, quietly helping return it back to the forest.
Their nickname is even better — wolf puffs… or wolf farts as the girls say.

Mature stump puffballs release a little cloud of spores when bumped or hit by rain. No stink involved. (Check out our quick clip… )

Just the forest being weird and wonderful, as she should 🍂🍄
