Campbell River, we’re so excited to be back at the Farmers Market tomorrow. 💚 This community is near and dear to our hearts, and we always love getting the chance to return.

Find us at the Campbell River Farmers market & Arts Faire (Sunday 10-2) for fresh spring veggies, farm eggs, preserves, and a few fun plant starts too 🥕 Shop early for the best selection.

May 8th Friday Farm Update 🌱

Last weekend’s plant sale was exhausting in the best possible way. Huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported us. And special thank you to our incredible crew. Their dedication, energy, and care are a huge part of what makes this farm possible, and we’re so grateful to work alongside them 💚

We had every intention of attending the Comox Valley Farmers' Market this weekend, but our plans have changed. We’ve decided to stay put on the farm so we can focus our full attention on getting field crops in. The work we put in now will reward us at the height of summer with a bounty of delicious vegetables.

Our farmstand is OPEN as usual, Thursday–Sunday from 10–5. Cash or e-transfer accepted, instructions are posted.

Plant Sale update for May 3rd 🪴Today is the LAST DAY OF OUR PLANT SALE. We’ve truly loved opening the farm and welcoming you all back. Thank you so much for coming out and supporting local farmers!

If you’ve been thinking about coming by, don’t wait. Inventory is getting extremely LOW and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

We’ve stocked the barn this morning with the very last of what we have, including:
• Tomatoes, Peppers, cucumbers, summer squash, winter squash, peas and beans
• Sweet peas ready for your gardens (grown from seed originally sourced from renowned sweet pea breeders in Britain!!! 🇬🇧)
• Hard to find lisianthus starts
• Giant pumpkin starts 🎃 we would LOVE to see these growing all over Vancouver Island this fall. These incredible fruits can grow over 1,000 pounds… imagine that in your garden!
• Fresh culinary herbs to elevate your garden and kitchen 🌿
• Kalettes, freshly potted up after selling out earlier

We’re all set up, the barn is full, and we’re ready to welcome you for five beautiful days of plants, fresh air, and spring inspiration.

🌿 Farmstand customers: while the sale is on, all produce and products will be relocated to the barn, just drive on in! Hours will coincide with sale hours.

Come early for the best selection and take your time browsing, there’s something for every garden and plant lover. Our team will be on hand and happy to help with anything you need. We’re excited to help you grow a beautiful, bountiful garden.

These are the favourites we return to year after year—tomatoes, peppers, vegetables, specialty cut flowers, edible flowers, and of course, culinary herbs.

Herbs are the heart of a culinary garden. They bring incredible flavour to your kitchen while attracting pollinators that help boost your vegetable and fruit production. Many are hardy perennials that come back year after year, and most thrive beautifully in containers. They are reliable, versatile, and true workhorses in any food garden.

🌍 Happy Earth Day!

We’re excited to share the Roma tomatoes that will be available at our upcoming Spring Plant Sale. These are the tried-and-true varieties we grow year after year on the farm. If you’re into canning or making sauce, these are the heavy hitters: thin skins, rich taste, and excellent yields.

Roma Tomato Lineup:

🍅San Marzano
The classic Italian heirloom and a favorite for sauces. Known for its sweet, rich flavor, low moisture, and meaty texture—perfect for canning and cooking.
Indeterminate | 80 days

🍅Granadero
A top performer with large, uniform fruit and high yields. Smooth, bright red tomatoes ideal for sauces. Grows well in a variety of conditions.
Indeterminate | 75 days

🍅Midnight Roma
A real standout. Deep purple-red fruit loaded with phytonutrients and a bold, slightly smoky flavor. Color deepens with sun exposure. Limited quantities available.
Semi-determinate | 80 days
