A special, spooky edition of our Fall Series pop-up w**e bar nights. In addition to curated w**e flights and casual bites, we’re turning the lights down low and gathering by candlelight for something eery and chilling that will truly ignite your senses.

An isolated North Island cabin. A remote North Coast lighthouse. A mist-shrouded Irish inn. The dark and stormy weather won’t be the only thing that gives you chills. Original, spine-tingling stories brought to life by local professional storyteller Rachel Muller.

This is a come-and-go evening, so come for one story or settle in and stay for all three. Your $10 cover ensures your access for the evening and can be paid in advance or at the door.

Between stories, enjoy curated w**e flights and casual bites by candlelight as the Wild Vine takes on a decidedly darker mood for Halloween.

The Wild Vine W**e Bar Pop-Up is back this fall 🍷

Four Saturdays inside Milano Coffee Shop, trading mugs for stems and bringing your favourite little w**e bar energy to the café.

And yes, the w**e flights are finally here 🙌🏼 Grab a flight, discover a few new favourites, enjoy a glass, and settle in with some casual bites.

Thoughtfully curated w**es, independent producers, relaxed euro café vibes, and no fuss.

Our first pop-up w**e bar series has come to an end. A little note to leave you with… and perhaps a whisper of what’s next. 🌿🍷

The wild vine goes where she wants to grow.

In the vineyard, wild tendrils reach outward, searching for wires, posts, branches, anything that might support their next stage of growth. So I want to thank our wonderful hosts at Tidal Café for being a supporting post for this little wild vine.

A true pillar in our community, thank you for creating such a beautiful and welcoming space to gather, slow down, and foster deeper human connection.

And of course, a special thank you to every attendee, regular, newcomer, curious consumer, and fellow w**e-o who joined us along the way. 🍷

Together, we’ve created something really special: a community brought together by curiosity, conversation, connection, and a shared love of a goooooood glass (or bottle) of w**e.

So… what’s next?

Well, the wild vine never stops growing.

As summer begins to soften, the vines turn their energy inward. Storing, strengthening, and preparing for the season ahead. September will be a month of slower energy, deeper preparation, and planting seeds for what’s to come.

But don’t worry… this wild vine is still reaching. 🌿

More pop-ups, more w**e, and more beautiful moments of connection are on the horizon for this vibrant little island community.

I’m so excited to share these incredible Austrian w**es with you this week! 🇦🇹🍷

Back in May, I had the privilege of visiting in the small village of Horitschon, Austria. We spent the afternoon walking through his w**ery and talking about his philosophy, his farming, and the deep connection he has to this place.

Franz knows his vineyards and soils like lifelong friends. Every parcel has a story, and every w**e is a reflection of it. That sense of place comes through so clearly in the glass.

Tomorrow, I'll be pouring three of his w**es at the w**e bar, and I can't wait for you to experience them.

We'll journey from the Loire Valley to the South of France, exploring the regions the French order by... not the grapes on the label. Along the way, you'll discover why some of France's most memorable w**es don't need to tell you what's inside the bottle.

Think long lunches, village cafés, candlelit dinners, and w**es that make you feel like you've stumbled upon your new favourite little bistro on holiday.
