Our food truck season is officially OVER!

After everything that happened this weekend, we honestly don’t even have the words to express how grateful we are.

What started as such a difficult and disappointing situation turned into something that reminded us just how incredible our community is. You all rallied around us in ways we will never forget. You shared our posts, showed up, brought your families and friends, ordered food, checked in on us, and supported our little family business when we needed it most.

And because of YOU… nothing went to waste. WE SOLD OUT!

Every pupusa, burrito, bowl and everything in between found a home. Knowing that we were able to finish our season this way means so much to us.

We started Pupuseria Las Gemelas with a dream, a love for our food, and a whole lot of hard work. There have been plenty of ups and downs along the way, but moments like this remind us why we keep going.

To every single person who supported us this season — whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or you just discovered us this weekend — THANK YOU. From the absolute bottom of our hearts. ❤️

We truly could not have done this without you.

Now it’s officially time for us to close up the truck, take a little break, spend time with our families, and start dreaming about what next season will bring. 🇸🇻🫶🏽

We can’t thank you all enough for the incredible support you’ve shown us after such a difficult situation with being scammed by the Nanaimo event.

What started as an extremely stressful and disappointing situation turned into an overwhelming reminder of how amazing our community truly is. The messages, shares, orders, and everyone who came out to support us have meant more than you’ll ever know.

From the bottom of our hearts, huge thank you.

We truly appreciate every single person who continues to support our family, our food truck, and our dream. Your kindness and support have helped us through a difficult moment, and we are beyond grateful.

🚨 A QUICK HEADS-UP FOR OUR CUSTOMERS & FELLOW FOOD TRUCKS 🚨

Please be extra careful when booking or sending deposits for upcoming events. Unfortunately, we just experienced our first encounter with a scam.

We were supposed to be in Nanaimo this weekend for the Fall Fair. We arrived, only to find out that we weren’t on the event list — and the person we had paid our deposit to wasn’t actually part of the event organizing team.

We had prepared a LOT of food for this weekend, so needless to say, this was incredibly disappointing.

That being said… we’re making the best of it!

WE ARE OPEN AT THE COMOX MARINA FOR ONE LAST WEEKEND OF THE SEASON! 🌮🫓

Come stock up on your favourite pupusas and Salvadoran food before we close up for the winter!

Our last day at the Comox Marina will be September 24th, from 12–6 PM!
