We deserve an update.
Where is the equipment that we are waiting on?
THE BRIDGE HAS BEEN DOWN FOR 5 MONTHS and we are the second largest municipality in the province!?
Can someone from the Town of CBS or Brook Construction please email us back or call us back. This is truly unacceptable it has gotten to this point.

Please inform us where the equipment is that is holding up the 3.03 million dollar bridge work.

When this bridge was washed out in 1991 it was gone for 6 months. Then the Army stepped in and had that “temporary” bailey bridge put it within one week. That temporary bailey bridge is what was taken down on May 4, 2026. Are we going to have to repeat history?!

Can someone out there make this make sense?
The lack of communication and transparency by our Town of CBS and Brook Construction is mind boggling.

The Pesto Chicken & Bacon Croissant will be back today:
🥐🌿🍯 Plain Croissant, Shaved Chicken Breast, Bacon, Hot Honey, Marble Cheese, Pesto Mayo.
We will have subs on herb and cheddar buns also!

🌮 A batch of taco dips just made!

🍷 The liquor stores are closed today but our Liquor Express is OPEN.

🍗 THE nuggets are back in stock and Wes will be popping his famous popcorn shortly! 🍿

🖍️ We will be accepting coloring contests until October 4 now. That will mark 5 months since the bridge is down so it seems fitting. Thank you to those who have submitted them…. They’re all incredible and posted up on the wall here at the store.

🎉 Purchase any 12, 15 or 24-pack Labatt product and be entered to win a JUMBO PIZZA (cheese and 3 toppings) and a MEDIUM GARLIC FINGERS from Tiny’s! And also a prize from Labatts!!!!

The owner of Tiny’s, Dave Cluney, stopped in and wanted to help us with business since the bridge has been down since May 4th. He said I’ll give you guys 7 gift certificates and I’ll contact Labatt and get them to contribute too. I then asked him for a hug… 🥹 He took it upon himself to do all this. A few days later he dropped off the gift certificates.

This is a very generous gesture coming from another small business. We thank you Tiny’s, from the bottom of our hearts. You are a true gem. And thank you Labatts!

We will be accepting entries all week with the FIRST OF 7 DRAWS to come Sunday, October 4th. (Which will mark 5 MONTHS since the bridge has been down… 🤯)
