What a whirlwind of a week!
First, I’d like to thank everyone who makes the Canada sheep classic possible. This kind of event requires so many volunteers, many behind the scenes, and none of it would be possible without your hard work. Second, I’d like to thank the bidders and the buyers. Congratulations on your purchases and we hope they do great for you in your programs. Third, I have to thank everyone we interacted with over the event. Thank you for your kindness, words of encouragement, and your questions! It was truly exciting to represent the Katahdin breed on a national scene!

I wish we could have taken more time after the sale to say our goodbyes, but we had a ferry to catch; a little vacation time after the hard work! We also may have had a few tears in our eyes. We’ve grown to love our sheep very much and although excited for their future, we’re sad to see them go.
