Come see us at the Shop Local Expo 🎃

Next Saturday, October 17, we'll be set up at the Corner Brook Civic Centre for the Shop Local Small Business Expo, hosted by 30-six Productions, and we would love to see you there.

Come say hi, meet our team, and taste a bite of our cheesecake while samples last. We're also bringing something special that you can only get at the expo: The Samuel's Boo Box. It's a Halloween treat box filled with cookies, pretzels, a cheesecake bar, brownies and a shortbread cat cookie, plus a chance to win a surprise prize.

We'll have more delicious treats on the table too, but everything is limited quantity, so if something catches your eye, don't wait too long.

This is the one Robert will tell you to start with 🍔

The Samuel is our flagship burger. A juicy smash patty, melted mozzarella, crispy onion straws, pickled banana peppers, shredded lettuce and his house-made signature sauce on a toasted bun.

That sauce is made right here in our kitchen, same as everything else. Robert has tweaked it over the years until it was just right, and honestly, we think it's what keeps people coming back.

It's $13.99 on its own, or $21.99 with fries and a drink. Swing by for lunch and you can watch it come off the grill in our open kitchen 😊

And save a little room, because the dessert case is full this week ❤️

Thanksgiving dessert, sorted 🥧

Thanksgiving is Monday, and we're taking preorders for pies and cinnamon rolls so you can skip the baking this weekend and spend more time at the table.

The pie lineup:
Coconut Cream
Lemon Meringue
Partridgeberry
Pumpkin

We're also baking trays of cinnamon rolls, 6 for $30. Portuguese custard tarts 6 for $16

They're a lovely way to start Thanksgiving morning with a cup of tea, or to bring along when you're visiting family.

We are so happy to share that the 100 Family Christmas Meal Project is now extending free Christmas meals to families on the North Shore.

If your family could use a little extra support this Christmas, we would love to help. A complete homemade Christmas dinner with roast chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, gravy, cranberry sauce and dinner rolls will be ready for you on December 23.

Big news from our kitchen, and I'm still pinching myself.

Our Filipino style barbecue sauce is going to be on the shelves of Coleman's stores across Newfoundland and Labrador 📣

We were named the very first winner of Coleman's Quest for NL's Best, and it is such an honour and a privilege to be recognized this way.

To everyone at Coleman's, thank you for believing in us and for supporting small local businesses like ours. Taking a chance on a small kitchen in Corner Brook means more to us than we can say.

This sauce is made in small batches right here in Corner Brook, with real ingredients. It is not factory made. It comes from our kitchen to yours, and we are proud of every bottle.

Carrot cake for the person who says he doesn't eat vegetables.

One of my regulars orders this cake for someone special in his life, and I'm told this person does not touch a vegetable. Not one. But he finishes every slice of my carrot cake and asks when the next one is coming.

I'll take that as the best review a baker can get 😊

It's loaded with carrots and pecans, baked from scratch and made with love. Nothing fancy, just a good old-fashioned carrot cake done properly 🥕
