The Ever-bearing Strawberries are beginning their second flush of "ever-ness". We will have 5lb and 10lb flats available for sale at the farm Thursday between 10:00am and noon. $7/lb.

It is an easy but surprising call to close the gate on the Blueberry season. The field is picked clean. The season has never finished before the first week of August. But with excellent pickers, hungry birds, a very non-bumper crop and beginning the season a week early, the end has come. Thank you loyal customers, some dating back to 2010(!) and the new ones we met this season. As always, hosting you on the farm is a highlight of our year-long farming season. We are ever grateful for your ongoing support of local food producers. On that note, there is more to come. The strawberries are flowering away in the upper field. We expect a decent second crop in a few weeks. We sell them primarily at the Comox Valley Farmer's Market. We will post here if and when there is pick up available at the farm.

When summer returns, may you enjoy its' fruits and also make time to rest from its' labours.

The blueberry season is winding down. Y'all have picked the field nearly clean! With a little help from ALL the birds. We will open a couple of more days this week. Open Monday 8:30am to 12:30pm for Blueberry U-pick. We will assess the picking situation and weather after tomorrow's opening and go from there. Check back here.

The blue of the berries (and the sky too!) is a favourite colour but I'm glad to see some other colours pop in the field.

We are adding an open day on Thursday from 8:30am to noon for Blueberry U-pick to make the most of the blueberry bounty. Open Friday and the plan is open Saturday though the forecast is for the rain. Stay tuned right here.

Another week of Blueberry abundance is upon us. We will be open Monday 8:30am to 12:30pm for Blueberry U-pick. Due to hot temps in the forecast, we will be open Tuesday from 8am to 11am. The field gets exceptionally warm. Closed Wednesday and Thursday. Open Friday and Saturday from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
