This is what I love about homestead living. Everything on this plate except the pork and the potato toppings came from our property and gardens. Such an amazing dinner!

It’s awesome to spend the morning in the garden. Got caught up on weeding and finally started harvesting some carrots and beets! Lots of lettuce, kale, herbs and peas as well!

We spent the day doing never ending yard work- weeding, planting, filling holes, and working on the greenhouse. Homesteading life isn’t easy, but it is rewarding. Spent the evening on the deck reading books and listening to the birds and tracking them on the Merlin app. Even spotted the swans with their brood of chicks!

Herb bundles $5 mixed or single: lemon balm, oregano, mint (spearmint, chocolate), parsley, cilantro

Mixed Greens $5 a bag: leaf lettuce, kale (flat, curly), beet greens
