New stock in the Shed today - a new batch of Borscht, and a new
soup addition - Heart Veg soup, another old family recipe, this time from my Father-in-law; made with homemade beef broth, potato,carrot,parsnip,turnip,celery,tomato,parsley,onion; Cinnamon Twist Buns will be put out by about 1 PM today, and another small batch tomorrow mid-day, fresh baked.

African GEM SQUASH - available now, but
as soon as the frost comes, they will be
gone! We have had them at the Cranbrook Farmer's Market for several weeks now. They are also now available at our newly opened Farm Shed - 3895 Standardhill Road (at the end of the long block of sunflowers). This year's crop has not been as prolific as last year, probably because of the cold June nights hence soil temperature and the serious lack of rain during the summer. We are grateful for the recent rains, but cooler temps means slower growth. Then there is the impending visit from Jack Frost! The shed opened later than we original planned due to a number of reasons. Produce is added as available, as are our large/xtr large eggs and Sunflower Bunches/small flower bouquets. As an added bonus, our neighbour, Mariah/OneSmallAcre has joined us in the shed with her delicious Sourdough Breads, cookies, rainbow eggs when available and various other items.
