We bought in the neighborhood in October 2020 and are developing the farm with eco-conscious practices in mind.

There is a brand new trail in our neighborhood… not yet mapped but in keeping with the Starwars theme I think it’s called the Sith. It connects with ChewbaccaRocca in our backyard. Lots of meandering turns and a little un level in spots but it’s a nice addition to the network.
We walked the loop yesterday and I ran a good part of it on my return today

The bees love Sainfoin, which we have lots of. It’s full of nectar and should make for some nice honey.

Lots of activity around the farm. Our first inspection of the bees and they have been so busy Eric decided we better add the super. This is the top layer where the queen can’t go but the other bees will end up filling these cells with honey. The brood are abundant, lots of activity and pretty healthy!
My little birdhouse has a new red-breasted nuthatch and some potential baby nuthatches.
