All animals are born and raised on the farm. They are managed seasonally - pastured, grass fed + finished including green feed throughout the winter

. We have a strong focus on carbon sequestration and reducing synthetic fertilizer inputs. Our goal is the have the most naturally managed livestock and crop operation possible while ensuring our environmental impact is minimal or improving conditions. We believe a healthy food system for people begins with quality soil and abundant microorganism systems. During our spring, summer and fall we have the animals on pasture happily grazing on cover crops, that help the plants and the environment on a larger scale. During the winter months, we use our baled and fermented green feed that is prepared over the summer months to ensure they are continually fed grasses - never finishing with corn. When our animals go for processing locally and we honour them from nose to tail by offering offal, bones and more. Our Skin Care products emerged thanks to our reduced waste mission resulting in merchandise including soap, lip balm and body creams. We are proud to farm and provide healthy and high quality food for your plate while ensuring Mother Nature is happy as well.
