Hi folks,
The last few days have been very enlightening with a video shown of the auctioning off of Epicure equipment (was very to sad to watch this video as I had the opportunity to visit Epicure's Home Office many times) to the now shocking news:
I am stunned that Amelia Warren (CEO of Epicure) has quickly resurfaced, only a couple of months after leaving thousands of Ambassadors unpaid, unheard, and dumped. After making poor decisions—or not making hard decisions at all. Epicure did not need to declare bankruptcy if it had been managed well.
Am I mad and frustrated, YES!
I was with Epicure for over 25 years.
Bankruptcy was announced, in Jan. 2025
Magic Scoop announced last week the purchase of the bankrupt Epicure—with Amelia Warren and Kyle Vucko (her husband) involved— Stunned again.
How does a company (Magic Scoop) that is owed $44K from Epicure now invite the former CEO to the table as an equity partner?
They invite her, and Amelia’s announcement reads: “It feels deeply meaningful to be offered my first equity stake in the company I helped build.”
Let’s be real: the true heart, soul, and engine of that company started with Sylvie Rochette, who had a vision.
From there, the CREDIT goes to the Ambassadors and the dedicated Home Team members who poured their time, energy, and belief into building it—day after day, year after year while Amelia was in grade school.
Remember, ALL of these dedicated people were not paid when they shut the doors.
So here we are—TODAY—the new Epicure wants the community to help rebuild.
Offering an “opportunity” to come back.
What part of mismanaged, unpaid, silence, and broken trust is unclear?
I’ve seen the recent messages from Magic Scoop to their affiliates, sent when people were unsubscribing - obviously damage control, sharing that Amelia wasn’t in the seat when it fell, that she was removed, or that she had left in May 2024… BUT Amelia had been photographed in Mexico at Sylvie’s home during a leaders retreat acting as CEO Jan 12/25 - just days before MNP closed the doors and their Social Media accounts went black.
A company doesn’t hit bankruptcy in under eight months unless it was already in free fall—with poor decision making hidden behind closed doors.
NO Magic Scoop, NO Amelia Warren , and NO Kyle Vucko
Thank you for showing us exactly who you are.
I understand many of you loved the products, I did as well. I will not purchase another single Epicure product moving forward, I will be shutting down this page in a few weeks.
