Blue Goose Farm Blue Goose Farm is a small farm in Fort Erie supplying the community with fresh produce + provisions

Blue Goose Farm is a collaboration between Matty Matheson and Keenan McVey — two chefs from Toronto who were looking start a small farm that could grow the highest quality produce possible for local chefs as well as contribute to a regenerative system. They want to share their experiences with others to inspire them to live more sustainably with purposeful work and an enriched lifestyle connected with nature and great food.

Spring on the farm can be a tough one. Our bodies arn’t quite used to the grunt work yet, the weather is insanely inconsistent, there’s always lots of planting to be done and loads and loads of compost to haul. It’s the most important time of the year as we set ourselves up for success in the summer. We couldn’t have done it without these guys.

This crew has been busy gearing up for our farm’s shop reopening day this Saturday, May 16th — mark your calendars! We will be open from 10am to 4pm ✌️

Shop the first of our early spring crops snd farm provisions. We will also have naturally raised meats and dairy, pasture-raised eggs, pantry staples, and our usual coffee and baked goods.

We will also be starting our plant sale out front with some of our favourite varieties that we grow on the farm, which will go on throughout the coming weeks 🌱 Quantities and varieties are limited

It’s finally that time of year! Join us on Saturday, May 16th from 10am - 4pm as we reopen our farm shop for the season 💙 The winter was long and we’ve missed you all so dearly!

We will have the first of our spring crops available (yes, that includes our mixed greens!) along with a selection of naturally raised meats, dairy, eggs and some great pantry staples.

We will also be doing a small plant sale (weather-permitting) with some of our favourite varieties that we grow at the farm 🌱 And as always, we’ll have coffee, our Blue Goose shop treats and a selection of sweets by and bagels from Trevor at .buoy

We can’t wait to welcome you all back to the shop and pick up where we all left off✌️Lots of exciting things coming this season!

It’s almost that time! Our crops are still doing their thing, so official opening details are coming soon but in the meantime — we are looking to hire a Seasonal Part-Time Retail Associate for our farm shop here in Ridgeway 💙

This role is very important to us as you will serve as a bridge between our farm and the community we love so dearly. We are also planning a lot of special things for the shop this season, so it’s going to be an exciting one!
