Our focaccia is used for our sandwiches, served with our bowl of soup, available to order on its own, can be brought home with you (when supplies allow) AND is made in-house!

Here, the dough is in the process of being shaped, which allows the first rise to occur as the yeast eats the sugars, creating CO2 to leaven the ball. We then “knock it down” and shape it to allow the second rise before we bake it and deliver it to your table.

June is National Indigenous History month, a time to recognize the rich history, heritage and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis.

To mark this month, we have chosen Upper Island Women of Native Ancestry (UIWONA) as our Sweet Support recipient.

Throughout the month of June, we will donate $1 from every dessert sold to this non-profit that provides programs and services to Aboriginal women, children and families in the Comox Valley and Northern Vancouver Island.

Our kombucha comes to us just a few hours down the road in Port Alberni from Wild Kind! Their team specializes in small-batch, artisanal kombucha that uses locally foraged ingredients. Healthy, fresh and Island local, their raspberry lemonade is currently pouring on tap at Cumberland Brewing Company.

What an incredible May long weekend! Cheers to everyone (especially the pipers!) who stopped by and helped to make this weekend so amazing.
