My interest in preparing creatively inspired, nutritious, beautiful organic food is a wonderful complement to my career as a professional singer and vocal instructor. My approach to vocal instruction is playful, with emphasis on improvisation, much in the way I cook! I teach private and group voice lessons in Canada, Antigua and Ecuador, offering intimate exploration into vocal technique for pleasure, professional development and for healing. I work - and play - with all levels of singers, specializing in Vocal Freedom for people with blocked voices. (I also offer basic violin, penny whistle and flute instruction.) For over twenty years I've preformed at international festivals and concert stages singing original jazz, blues, funk and folk-pop. I am a recording artist with award nominated CDs that have had placements in TV and radio charts. My voice is soothing, sultry, expressive and I love to entertain. Jazz, the international language of musicians has been the platform from which I launch my original tunes, but I am also well versed in traditional English folk ballads and popular songs. I play a variety of instruments including flute, penny whistle, violin, keys and melodica. There are always musicians eager to play from my network of international professionals, so if you are seeking a class act jazz trio to enhance your yacht experience, I can find a band that suits your requirements.
