Not only was last Saturday a great day of golfing fun but we were also incredibly excited to celebrate our great friends and long time customers- the Perry family- as they received the ALA Commercial Breeder of the Year award!
Jim and Terry have supported our bull sales from the very beginning, and we have been on many great adventures with them. Whether it’s driving throughout the province to attend bull sales or traveling to Ontario to tour Limousin feedlots and packing plants you can always guarantee a great time! For decades Curtis has expertly sorted our feeder calves at the Dryland market and promoted them to the attending buyers. We are incredibly grateful for his skillful eye in sorting and ensuring our cattle were always displayed at their best each fall. The family are great Limousin advocates and have represented the breed well with selling strong sets of feeder cattle along side us each fall to the Eastern markets. Not to mention the top quality replacement females that we acquired over the years which have made such a positive impact on our commercial herd! We look forward to many more years of road trips, lengthy visits and cattle trading!

The Perry family have been long time supporters of the Limousin breed! They bought their first Limousin bull in 1977 and have been using Limousin genetics since.
They continue to support lots of our purebred members sales in the spring and are great ambassadors for the Limousin breed in the commercial sector.
