🔅 JA ALL JAZZED UP 🔅

Aka MERLE
Sire: JA Jazzed Up Hickory
Dam: Bodi
AqHR registered

Contrary to the registered name… Merle most definitely is not “all jazzed up”. Merle is a very laid back and easy going gelding. “Burly Merly” as I have nicknamed him is a big, solid gelding. He has been big since the day he was born and continues to get bigger. He is a head turner and definitely catches the eye of anyone that comes in the yard. Merle had 4 months training with Broken Feather Ranch & Performance Horses earlier this spring. We have not rode him, just letting him grow up and enjoy the summer pasture. We are excited to get back to riding him this fall. Merle is easy to get along with and is a real lovebug once he’s comfortable with you. He is available if you are looking for you next ranch/rope horse prospect.

👑 JA KINGS HICKORY 👑

Aka MONTY
2024 sorrel gelding
Sire: Tejons Blue Hickory
Dam: NK Hankins Sue Pep

Monty is our last Woody gelding. I’ve been hanging onto him selfishly because he is one of our last Woody babies and a full sibling to our Etta mare we lost 2 years ago. Out of all the siblings, Monty reminds me of Etta the most. He’s got presence to him and so much natural athleticism. Like all Woody babies (especially the c**ts), Monty is a late blooming c**t. He is currently growing like a bean sprout and definitely needs to fill in, but he is still maturing nicely. These pictures don’t do this c**t justice. Monty is an athlete and is going to make a great performance horse. If you are looking for a talented prospect with tons of eye appeal, come take a look at Monty. You won’t be disappointed.

Nash
2025 c**t
Sire: JA Jazzed Up Hickory

Nash is one 😎 dude. He has the chillest personality and is not phased by anything. He reminds me a lot of his momma with his demeanour. She has always been so easy going and trainable. Nash hasn’t been handled at all since May and yesterday I brought him home from pasture, bathed him for the first time and he stood tied up for 4 hours. No fuss, no pawing, and he absolutely loved his spa treatment. Nash is still a stud but will be getting gelded in September. He is going to be a big, gentle gelding! If anyone is looking for a flashy ranch/family horse prospect, take a look at him!

Color: Bay Roan
Sire: U Lazy U Autocat ( Smooth As A Cat)
Dam: NK Hankins Sue Pep

This is our only out cross foal of the year. This is our last foal of 2026. Preacher is one that I will have a hard time saying by to. He has minimal handling yet he was born broke. He is so quiet and easy going, nothing phases this c**t. I’ve had to pick some cactus off him from him napping in my the wrong spot and he has just stood completely unbothered. I can’t say enough good things about this c**t. He is by far my favourite this year! Preacher is as wide as he is tall and really reminds me of his half brother (same dam) Gunner both looks and personality wise. This guy is going to be a fun one to bring a long a train and I can’t wait to either be apart of that journey or watch someone else take him on. He is available as much as I dislike saying that 😂. This c**t is as gentle as they come with such a willing mind and attitude!!
