We continue to evolve and expand into new-to-us farming ventures. What will probably stand out the most if you were to drive by our farm is our elk! We purchased our elk in 2019 and have fallen in love - they are such a beautiful and elegant creature! Our elk are raised for their antlers and for meat - and it is some of the best meat you will try! On our farm every year we plant a garden for our f
amily because we love to eat fresh, hand picked veggies. We love knowing where our food comes from and how it has been grown. For that same reason we have lots of chickens! We love being able to collect farm fresh eggs every day - the taste can not be beat!! Plus we know what the hens have been fed and how fresh the eggs are! The more we started to talk to others about our farm and where we get our food, the more we heard that people wanted that for themselves! Having grown up on the farm and always having had a garden and animals, we were intrigued by the idea that people could feel this disconnect - that there were children who may not know the seed-plant-produce cycle, or where their meat and eggs come from! This is the reason we have started to open up our farm and begin to sell some of what we grow on our farm. We love nature and farming. We love the beauty that nature brings and creating things that can bring some of that beauty into our home. Everything that we sell is cared for or made with our own two hands.
