A little change
Having just created our business page without any explanation, we wanted to take a minute on this rainy morning to describe our operation...
W. A. R. is for Wilkins. Armstrong. Rioux. While the Wilkins and Armstrong's have been farming for years with their commercial herd of 120 cows & calves and herd bulls. The beef approach is a little bit more of a learning experience for the Rioux side in the beef industry (I have plenty to learn lol). W.A.R. Genetics made the choice to start working with speckle park at first because of the variable coat pattern that you can get within the breed; it quickly became obvious that we love working with this breed. With there mild temper, flashy look and excellent carcass quality speckle park fits our operation wants and needs!
In an industry which is always under scrutany with environmental regulations, animal health and no lack of work, W. A. R. Genetics is dedicated to environmental sustainability while ensuring a quality of life for all our animals (even when the boys are wrangling the piglets or chasing kittens).
