This is Seaside Blooms' first dahlia bred in our very own gardens. The excitment has been building for quite some time and she finally bloomed today.

It just so happens to be my niece's birthday so, this beautiful flower shall be named Seaside Aurora.

If all goes well we will have tubers this fall to grow Seaside Aurora again next year.

We're watering the dahlias daily and we're starting to see buds on some plants! Flowerstand opening day is coming...

The dahlias are doing their thing. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to bring flowers to the stand later this month...
