Such an abundance this year. Now if only they helped more with the mosquitoes. 🤣

Chickens are great cleaner uppers 😂😂

Living on land that was homesteaded for many years before us means there are a few clusters of trees that may or may not have been the dump.

Thankfully for the chickens, they go in and clean it all up and dig up a bunch of what was left behind for me to clean up.

So far two 5 gallon pails of misc pieces of metal, wire, twine, coat hangers, glass and more melted glass then I have ever seen before. Apparently it was also the burn pile.

And sometimes you find things in pristine condition, buried well over 20 years ago but wrapped in plastic. This little burgundy box apparently used to hold the needle for a record player...

Chickens are almost done this side of the trees, almost time to be moved again to greener pastures so I may dig up more treasures
