Rawes Ranches is hiring a full-time, long-term person with cattle experience to start August 1.
Location Strome, Alberta.
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience in cattle production
- Minimum Class 3 Drivers License, Class 1 preferrable
- Honest, adaptable and capable of taking on responsibility
- Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
Scheduled weekends off and flexibility with additional time as needed.
Housing available for the right applicant.
Hourly wage based on experience and skills

We had a tremendously good bull sale despite Alberta’s winter weather. We are sincerely grateful to all who supported us.

A special thank you to our extended family and ranch crew for going above and beyond to make the day run as smoothly as possible. After 43 years of hosting bull sales, you’d think the excitement or challenge might wear off…but it’s always a little different and special. This year, in particular, it has been memorable to hear and talk about the high market prices and look forward to a good year ahead.

It is humbling to reflect on how well the day unfolded, and the effort that so many people contribute to our program year after year.

Bull Sale preparations are underway for our 43rd annual, coming up soon Tuesday, Feb 17th. Here's a sneak peek from the first days of picturing...
We are extremely grateful for the mild weather during this time and for our dedicated and capable crew.
Semen testing will begin next week.
The catalog and bull videos will be online for viewing near the end of January.
