Hey everyone, we are adding something new to the farm, we will now be selling Purina Animal Feeds on the farm in Cormack. We currently have a small selection of feeds in stock just to get started. We will be adding different feeds as time goes on and as we find out what our customers needs are.

Today may have been a nasty one with wind and snow ❄️ but farming and trucking goes on! Egg truck still showed up as per usual on Wednesdays, picked up our eggs 🥚🥚 and off to the grading station to get graded, packaged and off to store shelves. Had my little sidekick with me to make sure the eggs were good to go and to ride along clearing snow so that the truck could get in to pick up our eggs 🥚.

Late June/ early July of 1999 at age 11, I brought home my first 2 hens and a rooster in Piccadilly where I started farming (as a hobby). Since the beginning, I've added horses, cows, sheep and have raised pigs there as well. In 2017, I started farming in Cormack and started Long Range Poultry Farm. In 2020, the cows and horses were moved to the farm in Cormack. Today, just over 26 years since I started, we loaded up the sheep and moved them to Cormack. When we pulled out of the driveway today, it was the first time there hasn't been livestock of some sort at the Piccadilly location since the beginning. A different feeling to see the barn empty.

Had a great and informative day while attending the NL Young Farmers Forum Leadership Summit held at the Deer Lake Motel. A huge shout out to the motel for putting off an amazing supper made with all local products from local producers! Thanks for supporting local farmers👨‍🌾👩‍🌾 and our products!
