Healthy life starts with healthy decisions. I believe food is more than just eating—it’s healing, energy, and joy. I create fresh, flavorful, and nourishing meals using wholesome ingredients like vegetables, lean meats, olive oil, garlic, lemon, and vibrant spices.

My mission is to make healthy eating simple, delicious, and part of everyday life—because when you take care of your body, everything else follows.

Cooking my traditional food here in Canada is more than just making meals—it’s how I carry my roots, my memories, and my love across oceans.

Every dish I prepare brings me back to my childhood, to family gatherings, to the warmth of home.

Through A Taste of Bethlehem, I’m sharing a piece of my culture with this beautiful country that I now call home.

It fills my heart with joy to see others enjoy these flavors, to connect through food, and to keep our traditions alive.

Food is not just nourishment—it’s a story, a memory, and a bridge between where we come from and where we are today. 🤍

From “Oh No Cholesterol” to “Oh Yes, Taste of Bethlehem!”

Once upon a time… there was a single mom (me 😄) juggling life like a professional circus performer—kids, responsibilities, work, stress… and somewhere in between, grabbing whatever food didn’t run away first.

One day, life said: “Surprise!”
High cholesterol.

The doctor looked serious. I looked back like… “Maybe it’s just a typo?”
He said medication. I said, “How about… give me two months and let me fight this like a Middle Eastern mama with olive oil and garlic?”

Challenge accepted.

I went home, opened my kitchen, and basically told junk food:
“Thank you for your service… you are officially fired.”

I started my journey—fresh vegetables, real spices, family recipes from Bethlehem, olive oil flowing like a blessing, and yes… workouts (don’t ask how dramatic that part was).

First 10 days?
I felt lighter.
Then I slept better.
Then I looked at myself like, “Wait… who is she??”

Two months later, I walked into the doctor’s office like a champion.

He said, “We should wait six months.”

I said, “No, no… let’s not be shy. Test it now.”

Results came back…

BOOM.

Cholesterol? Back to normal.

Doctor: “What did you do?”
Me: “I stopped eating like life is a fast-food commercial and started eating like it’s a gift from God.”

And that’s when it hit me…

If I—busy, tired, single mom, sometimes surviving on coffee and prayers—could do this…

So can other parents.

Because let’s be honest:
We want to feed our kids healthy food… but life is busy.
We want balance… but time runs faster than us.
And sometimes junk food just shows up like an uninvited guest that won’t leave.

So I said:

“Fine. If life is busy… I will bring healthy food TO life.”

And that’s how A Taste of Bethlehem was born.

Not just food.
Not just meals.

But:

* A rescue plan for tired parents
* A “no-excuses” healthy option
* A hug in a lunch box
* A reminder that health doesn’t have to be complicated

Weekly boxes, catering, even frozen meals—because sometimes survival mode is real 😄

My dream?

To build something bigger than just a business.
A place where people:

* Eat together
* Learn together
* Heal their bodies
* Laugh while cooking
* And remember that food is not just food… it’s love, history, and life

One day, I’ll have my own space where people walk in tired…
and walk out saying:

“Okay… I can do this.”

Because even if life is hard…
Even if you’re a single parent…
Even if your schedule is crazy…

You still deserve to live healthy.

And me?

I’ll be in the kitchen…
Probably talking to the garlic like it’s my business partner…

Building a dream—one meal at a time. 💛

This is not only a salad.
This is a memory. 🌿

A memory of Bethlehem… of family tables, laughter, and the simple moments we shared together with love and care. The smell of fresh parsley, olive oil, and lemon brings us back to our homes, where food was never just food — it was connection.

At A Taste of Bethlehem, every dish carries a story. It carries the traditions we grew up with, the love of our mothers and grandmothers, and the moments when everyone gathered around the table.

Healthy, fresh, and made with heart.
Because food should not only feed the body — it should also feed the soul.
