We just got another top-up of Uncle Jim’s Meat Market meats, and there’s lots to choose from! 😋
We have a great variety of:

🏡 LOCALS — WE WANT YOUR INPUT! 🏡
As cottage season starts to wind down, we’re getting to that time of year where things naturally get a LOT quieter at the Market.
Our summer business is heavily supported by our amazing cottagers, and we’re so grateful for every one of you! ❤️ But as we head into September, we’re trying to figure out when it makes sense to close for the season and how much we should scale back our staffed hours before then.

This is where we’d love to hear from our local customers, and maybe even the locals we have yet had the privilege of welcoming to The Market.

🍞 Wilkies Sourdough Bread and Georgina’s Pies?
What do you all think about having weekly order? Would you be interested in signing up for one week, or standing order for the month of September?

🛒 How about self-checkout?
We’re considering increasing our self-checkout hours as things slow down. Most of the Market would still be available, but during self-checkout times we can’t offer things like ice cream cones or roller grill items.

⏰ And what about hours?
We know September is a very different month from July and August.

So before we make those decisions, we want to hear from you!

Happy Thursday! Due to Wilkies Fresh Baked Bread taking a much deserved break this weekend, our regular Friday order came in today instead, so we are all stocked up! Come grab your favourite or try a new one! Have a great day!

A Quick Apology & Hours Update
We’re sorry to share another temporary adjustment to our hours. ❤️
Tomorrow, Monday, August 24, we will be SELF-CHECKOUT ONLY.
The good news is that most of the market will still be available for you to shop as usual!
The only things we won’t be able to offer tomorrow are our prepared items, including:
🍦 Ice cream cones
🥔 Kettle chips
🌭 Roller grill items
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We’re actively looking at solutions to help make sure these temporary adjustments don’t need to happen in the future, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through it.
We’ll be staffed again as scheduled on Tuesday. ❤️

📣Announcement! For tomorrow (Thursday), unfortunately we’ve had a last-minute staffing change.
To make sure we can still keep the market open, Cathy will be holding down the fort from 10am to 1:00 PM, and then we’ll switch over to our self-checkout option from 1:00–5:00 PM. Cathy will be back around 5:00 PM to finish out the evening with us.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we juggle things behind the scenes. ❤️
The good news? The market will still be stocked and you’re still welcome to stop in and shop!
