Chilly dog & her beloved food dish 💙

Fun fact: When we first got Chilly as a young adult dog needing a new place to hang her hat, she was so so skinny and I couldn’t convince her to eat almost anything. The only thing she liked was eggs! So now I cook her duck & chicken eggs, beef stock, and some home grown ground beef to mix into her food and now she lovessss her meal times and her bowl!!

She’s worth every bit of it she keeps all the little livestock safe 🐓🦆🫏🐴🐐🐇

How do I know fall is coming? Because on the first crisp turnout morning everyone is freshhhh! I didn’t even have time to get my phone out before they had torn off halfway across the field 😅🤎🍁🍂🐿️

Thankful to be a newcomer to Turtle Valley where people look out for each other and locals are prepared to fight wildfire, as well as the fast response from bc wildfire, & the rain today ⛈️

Yesterday’s thunderstorm caused a small wildfire that could have turned big without the diligence and quick action of people from this area.

How we bring the horses in and Amazon parcels up when the sow and her cubs are on our driveway 🤓

Yes I do bring my horses off the field every night. Old Doll needs extra feed at the barn and everyone else needs to lay off the feed! I also like to have a good look at everyone daily, there are hardly any bugs up at the paddocks, it’s good practice for the kids to lead horses, a way to keep the horses manners in check even if they aren’t being used every day, & last but not least it’s good for horses to learn to be lead in different ways - you never know when you will be in a situation or an emergency where you might need to lead them off a quad or a truck and walk in a group.

& also yes Amazon delivers to my gate 🙌🏻 This shocked me when we first bought the place that Amazon would deliver to our area! Win!!

Kitten spam. Oh my heart ♥️ This little mama cat she just has an absolute heart of gold. The best little Mama out there, just watching them tugs on my heart strings. She is tiny but mighty, the girls have been supplementing her 4 times daily with wet food to help her keep up with her litter. One opened its eyes briefly today 🥹 They are growing right before our eyes! 🌱
