You will need
1lb of cavatrappi noodles or rotini
1 back of President Choice shredded mac and cheese blend. If you can't find this just use any shredded cheese with 2 different cheeses
4 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 cup milk
1 cup chicken stock
1/2 block of cream cheese
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp of Kraft Dinner Shaker cheese

Topping
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1 cup bread crumbs
2 tbsp butter

Directions
1. Boil water and once boil add pasta and let it cook until its almost done. Drain and let cool
2. In a frying pan melt butter and then add flour. Whisk together.
3. Then add milk and chicken stock until it is thicken
4. Then add cream cheese and once melted add a bag of shredded cheese. leave 1/2 cup for the topping. Add salt and pepper to taste
5. Once all melted and cheesy then add the secret ingrediant of Kraft Dinner shaker cheese.
6. The add the sauce to the pasta mix together
7. Preheat oven at 400
8. Then add mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheese and then mix together bread crumbs and melted butter. Then sprinkle on top
9. Bake in oven until cheese is all melted and bubbly about 15-20 mins

Skillet Lasagna

You will need
1 lbs of ground beef cooked
1 onion chopped
1/2 green pepper
5 mushrooms chopped
1 tsp of italian seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce
4 lasagna noodles broken up
1 cup chicken or beef stock
1 cup shredded cheese

1. Cook ground beef in a skillet. Once cooked add onion, green pepper, and mushrooms. add salt and pepper to taste. Then add italian seasoning
2. Once all is cooked then add pasta sauce, stock, and broken up lasagna noodles
3. Once that is all cooked about 15 mins add cheese to top and cover until melted
4. Let stand for about 5-10 mins serve with garlic bread

Oatmeal Toffee Pecan Chocolate Chips Cookies

You will need:
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1 tsbp vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup toffee bits
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions
1. Preheat oven at 350
2. In a medium bowl add flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, bakign powder, baking soda, and salt
3. in a large bowl whisk butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Then add egg and vanilla.
4. Then mix dry and wet ingrediants together. Then add pecans, toffee bits, and chocoalte chips
5. Scoop on to a cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 mins
6. the cookies will be ready when the edges are golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool on a cooling rack

Trust the process and you will get to your goals.
It takes focus.
It takes dedications.

Its always a constant work in progress for me to not to care about all the details that don’t matter,

Shes got it all….
That’s what we often think as we notice the woman parked beside us getting out of her brand new and clean SUV sporting top of the line clothes, gorgeous shoes and the coach purse you always wanted.

She’s got it made
That’s what we often think as we watch her laugh with delight as she
talks about her amazing vacation down south that she just got back from. And how her and her husband will be going every year.

She has it all together
That’s what we think to ourselves as we attend another birthday party for her child at her house in the best neighbourhood, her house cleaned from top to bottom her floors shinning and organized book shelf.

She’s living the good life
That’s what we think as we compare our lives to hers.

But what we don’t see…
The tears she cried in the bathroom
The anxiety that plagues her mind
The struggles she has
The nights she spends tossing and turning
The unrealized dreams or broken promises
The complete picture of her life

So rather than living in world of comparison perhaps its best if we commit to living in a world of compassion and kindness.
Because the truth is.. we are all broken, each and every one of us.
We all have darkness in our past, struggles in our present and worries in our future. There is not one of us that has it all together all the time!

Life…. Its like a road…
its bumpy, full of twists and turns. Its rough.
And just when you think you’ve got it all figured out it changes
and you’ve got to figure out how to navigate it all over again.
But theres beauty in the journey.
A lesson around ever turn and every rough patch.
But you just keep driving..
your destination is at the end of the road.
Just keep driving and going though obstacles and you will get there.

The last little while mostly because of New Years I have seen on social media that I NEED to have a morning routine to make my morning and day more productive or set the tone for my day. At first I was all for it. Lets do this NEW YEAR NEW ME stuff.

Since 2010 I have travelled to work about 45mins to an hour. So me having a morning routine where I go to the gym, read etc was out of the question. I was already getting up at 5:30 am sometimes at 5am. So to get up early to do this stuff was out of the question.

Then I got a job close to home where I don’t have to leave until 8:55am if I want to. Which I will tell you is amazing! When I started my job I thought ok I will give it a month to get use to my new routine and then I will start this “Morning routine stuff” go to the gym, do my personal development, journal etc… well 10 months later that hasn’t happened.

Like I said I have been seeing all over social media how it’s the new year and we need to start a morning routine. I just couldn’t do. I enjoy that I get to sleep until 7am or 730 if I want to. I enjoy my slow mornings of just vegging on the couch scrolling my phone or cuddling with my dogs or watching my favorite show I pvr’d.

Then the other day I was listening to a pod cast… and the girl said what I have been thinking all along.. Its ok if you don’t have a morning routine where you read, go to the gym, wake up before the kids, read your bible. You do you. You do what is easy for you. And that made me feel great.

I do have a routine in the morning routine.. I get out of bed.. move to the couch.. then when I am awake I shower, have breakfast and get ready for work. Same routine every day. And I like it!

I have to get back to the gym eventually lol but when I do I will go afterwork on my way home because that works for me and my schedule. I will do my personal development or read my bible in the evening because that works for me. I will do what works for me.

Don’t compare yourself to the girls on social media who have this perfect morning routine and don’t tire yourself to do it. Do what works for you. And that makes its so much easier and makes you more happy and makes your day better!!

Heck maybe even hurt a little.
But do it anyway.
Own your mistakes anyway.
Growth doesn’t come without a little discomfort.
