After trying to sell the buffalo as a complete herd, we have decided to sell them separately. We have sold three females and our steers so far. We need your help finding a home for the following ladies.

🐃 The Old Girls (Carol, Bonnie, & Victoria) age 18+, these girls are not suitable to be industrial milked but can still be bred and milked for personal use. They are incredibly friendly and calve out well. We are asking $1,300 each or $3,500 for all 3.

🐃 Beatrice is a great cow! We bought her two years ago and have watched her grow. She is friendly and calves well. $1,800

🐃 Lousie is Carol's daughter. She was our first female calf of 2021. She grew well and fast. She is currently bred from our bull Jameson. She is approximately 900-1000lb (the photo above is old). She is shy but is getting more confident. $2,000

We have made the hard decision to sell our water buffalo herd. Our hearts are broken and there have been many tears. We would really like them to all go to one home~ if you or anyone you know is interested please let us know :)

This is a great opportunity for new farmers or farmers wanting to try something new! We grew the herd from 2 to 15 over three years. Water buffalo are a unique animal in Ontario. They are great for milking (no quota needed) for milk, cheese, ice cream and more. The milk does not contain lactose which allows many people with traditional milk allergies to be able to digest it.
The meat is also great and we never had a problem selling it. In comparison to beef, the meat is low in cholesteral and higher in protein.

We grew our herd after purchasing two hiefers from a herd dispersal in Caledon and four older cows from the Ontario Water Buffalo Company.
