sometimes (most of the time) farm life isn’t like what you see online, we’ve had chickens dying everyday with no clues as to what was killing at least 10 of them until this little sly fox showed up on camera. now we pivot to trying to keeping the chickens safe! transparency is important to us this is a wonderful life but nothing good comes without hard times! 🇨🇦

🐑 Reserve Your Lamb Today! 🐑

We’re excited to announce that reservations are open for our rotationally grazed lamb! Whole and half lamb available at $19/lb. Deposit will be required.

By reserving ahead, you’ll have access to locally raised, high-quality lamb straight from our farm.

Send us a message to reserve your lamb. Pick up will be mid July!

When we first rescued Prince (on the right), he was a border collie whose needs had never truly been met. With nowhere to put his energy and instincts, he spent his days looking for an escape and running away whenever he had the chance.
Today, were happy to say he’s a completely different dog.
Farm life has given him a job, room to run, and the freedom to be exactly who he was meant to be. Watching him race across the fields, play with pure joy, and settle in with us for cuddles has been incredible.
The coolest part is all he needed was the right environment to let his spirit bloom and he hasn’t even tried to run away once!

Friday Farm Report
Current farm status:

Sheep: Grazing like they’ve never seen grass before.
Chickens: Making eggs and demanding snacks.
Flowers: Getting some rays and hoping for rain.
Farm dogs: Snoopervising the entire operation and getting as dirty as possible!
Farmer: Wondering where all the feed went.

Just another day of farm chaos, fresh air, happy animals and plants with their loyal humans catching a break at sundown!

We had a big storm in parts of Ontario last night with some places even experiencing tornados, hoping that everyone is safe and any damage is able to be fixed quickly 💗

After a busy and beautiful day at the Norwood Market yesterday, we’re slowing things down with a peaceful, easy day here on the farm (well as peaceful as the animals will allow)

Grateful for all the support, smiles, and conversations — now it’s time to recharge and soak in the quiet. We hope you’re all enjoying a relaxing and fun long weekend, whatever that looks like for you ☀️
