Lisianthus is a favourite of mine and will always be in my cutting garden. Here’s why:

These tightly packed petals, much like a rose, come in a variety of colours. A single stem can hold up to 10 blooms and last in a vase for up to three weeks with proper care.

However, lisianthus requires patience. Depending on the variety, it can take up to 8 months to flower from seed. We order our plants from the Canadian company Jolly Farmer.
