You know it was a good day in the picture pen when the boss is still smiling😁 Big thanks to Paige Warner Multimedia for picturing the bulls and Ava from Timm Cattle Co. to help keep them moving smoothly.

Stay tuned for our 2026 🐮✨NAME THAT CALF✨🐮 post!

As a way to make conversation easier when discussing the herd, we give our calves “barn” names as numbers can become redundant! Plus it’s fun to name them😜

However, we need your help! We’ve named our first few calves, but are running out of ideas! Each week we will post a calf that is in need of a name.

The rules are:
- must begin with the letter “P” as this is the letter for 2026
- Must like/follow this page
- Comment your name choice and share to your story!

Our littlest wrangler will draw a name out of a hat and a small prize will be given to the winner!🤠

Our beloved little horse is looking for a new home!

6 year old 14.2hh grade gelding
He spent 5 months in training with Rick Weibe in 2023, and has been spending this past summer at the Dundurn community pasture with Will Hamm.

“Link” ties, trailers, stands for the farrier, not herd bound, gets along well with other horses, and would be a good horse for a handy youth or experienced amateur who wants to do a little bit of everything. He has never offered to buck, bolt or do any funny business, but can be “looky” as he is still green and gaining confidence. Not for “beginners” at this time but with more life experience I think he could make a good kids horse some day. The first day we had him he was right in the chaos of vaccinating calves and slept through it all and has seemed to really enjoy our cattle. Is not bothered by machinery, cows, chickens, dogs, cats. He was weary of people in the beginning, but has become more social overtime. Therefore, he can be a little hard to catch until he gets to know you - not as a crafty way to avoid work, just unsure. He’s got a soft eye and means well.

No lameness issues, has always been barefoot and is sure-footed. He has a scar on his back right hip that was there when we got him - likely from a barbed wire fence, doesn’t bother him. Up to date with vaccines, dewormer and negative coggins June 2025. Teeth done by dentist June 2024 and will be done again Sept 2025.

Our goal is to find him a person who wants a handy little horse to do things with, and take the time to build a relationship with him. We unfortunately do not have the time now to give him what he deserves. He’s got a good attitude and could be a fun all-around gymkhana or pony club type horse, or continue his ranch training. Once he has that trust in you, we have no doubt he will take on anything. He’s broke, versatile, and just needs a person and miles!
