📚🐴 Homeschooling, Ranch Style! ❤️

A little homeschool Language Arts with Daxson while sweet Ruby patiently waits for her turn to go for a ride! 🐎

One of the many things we love about ranch life is being able to blend learning, family time, and our love for horses into everyday moments.

Just another beautiful day at Davis Creek Ranch! ❤️🌾

🐴💕 Settling Into Their New Home!

Kylie and Boomer have moved into their new space here at Davis Creek Ranch, and they are settling in beautifully! 🏡🐴

It’s so heartwarming watching this sweet mama and her c**t explore their new surroundings, get comfortable, and make themselves right at home.

We are so excited to watch them continue to grow, settle in, and become part of our ranch family. ❤️

New beginnings, happy horses, and beautiful memories in the making! 🍂🐴

✨ WE HAVE ANOTHER ANNOUNCEMENT! ✨

We don’t know how many times we’ve said this — or how many more times we might say it — but we swear we are officially done adding to our program this season! 😂🤞🐴

That being said… we have another very special welcome to share! ❤️

Please join us in welcoming Ravalin’s Lunar Empress, barn name Kylie, and her beautiful c**t at her side, Magic Twist Boomer, to Davis Creek Ranch! 🐴✨

And this announcement just keeps on giving…

Kylie is also in foal for a July 2027 baby, bred to the handsome King Tighan! 🍼❤️ We are incredibly excited to see what this pairing brings next summer.

Kylie and Boomer arrived at the ranch late last night, and we’re giving them some time to settle into their new home and get comfortable with their new surroundings.

We can’t wait to share more photos and videos of these two as they settle in — and, of course, follow Kylie’s journey as we look forward to another very exciting arrival in 2027.

Welcome home, Kylie & Boomer! 🤎🐴

Our Davis Creek Ranch family just keeps growing… and this time we really mean it when we say we’re done. 😉😂

Yesterday was a bittersweet day here at Davis Creek Ranch as our family experienced our very first foal weaning. 🤍🐴

It was hard to watch our foals take that next step away from their mamas, but it was also a beautiful reminder that growing up means learning to stand on your own.

We are so excited to watch each of them continue to learn, grow, and develop their own personalities as they head down the road of their own individual journeys. These milestones may tug at our hearts, but they are all part of raising confident, independent horses and watching them become who they are meant to be.

“Roots to grow and wings to fly.”

Here’s to new beginnings, growing up, and all the adventures still ahead. 🤎

The kids are always busy learning, helping, and getting their hands dirty here at Davis Creek Ranch! ❤️🐴

They’ve come such a long way with their fencing skills, and we’re so proud to watch their confidence and abilities grow with every project.

More fencing is up, and our new round pen is officially complete! 🎉 Each day brings us one step closer to finishing our ranch renovations and seeing the vision we’ve worked so hard for come to life.

There’s still work to be done, but we’re loving the journey—and especially grateful that our kids get to learn, grow, and be such a big part of building Davis Creek Ranch alongside us. 🤎

We are incredibly blessed to have a farrier right here on site at Davis Creek Ranch! 🐴🤎

Today was hoof care day, making sure everyone’s feet are healthy, comfortable, and well cared for. Good hoof care is such an important part of keeping our horses happy and feeling their best.

A huge thank you to McKenna Carlson for always taking such amazing care of our horses’ feet. We are so grateful for the time, patience, and care you give each one of them! 🐎✨

Jordan from Carlson Equine has been spending some time at Davis Creek Ranch, putting training hours on a few of our mares while also sharing some of his knowledge and experience with Sam.

Ridge and Ruby have both been loving the work, and it’s been so rewarding watching them learn, grow, and build confidence with each session. 🐴🤎

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from experienced horsemen and continue building our own knowledge along the way. There’s always something new to learn when it comes to horses, and that’s one of the things we love most about this journey. ❤️

Secret is enjoying a little mini spa day! 🐴🫧🤍

Our girls were right there to help, getting some hands-on experience with feather care and learning what it takes to keep those beautiful Gypsy feathers clean and healthy.

We love seeing them take such pride in caring for our horses. These simple moments at Davis Creek Ranch are some of our favourites. 🤍🐴

Yesterday, our daughter Kiera was out taking pictures of the horses, and when we looked through them, we found these absolutely adorable shots of Misty enjoying a little nap on the perfect sunny fall day. 🍂☀️🐴

That sweet, sleepy smile says it all. 🥹 There’s something so special about seeing our horses this peaceful, happy, and content in their home at Davis Creek Ranch.

Sometimes it’s the quiet little moments like these that end up being our favourites. 🤎
