From seed to jar, this is our first test batch of dehydrated chili powder! We'll be testing and creating our blends throughout the summer and hope to soft launch in the fall :) 🌶❤️

We're growing a few different types of peppers on the farm this year. These three are Shish*to, Cayenne (the long one) and Heathland Paprika (paprika is changing colour). Loving how happy they are! 😍

Hi folks and welcome to Happy Patch Farm! We're launching a shiny new *delivered* CSA program (veggie box subscription) for Fairfield, Fernwood, Oak Bay and Oaklands.

(Other areas, please feel free to message me to set up a pickup solution)

About us:
Happy Patch Farm is a first year regenerative farm. I believe that food is a right, not a privilege. With that in mind, I have built in a permanent Community Support bed. This year it's supporting the Flourish! School Program. I'm really very excited about it!

How the CSA works:
-There are two size options, and 3 payment options. Two of the payment options are a recurring subscription until the total for the 16 weeks is reached. No interest, just the farm returning the support favour.)

-It's once a week for 16 weeks starting the first week of June

-Delivered to your door

-Your preferences are important. We'll all be figuring out how to best support a you-choose type model together (yep, as in community and farmer. Let's do it!). A hybrid model is most likely and I'll be asking all for a list of faves and hates so I don't provide you with food you dislike.

My dms are open should you have any need or want to reach out. Being accessible is important to me.

PS. If the site acts wonky or anything, please tell me. It's shiny new too and we're all breaking it in together.

We're so excited to have walked our new patch of land today! Soon enough the water will recede and the hard work of forming permanent beds will begin. We can't wait to bring you all with us on this amazing new journey! 💙🌱🐝
