THE IDEA OF BEING RADICALLY GENEROUS

Being a gatekeeper of how to produce something is powerful in business, it’s why we created ‘patent laws’.

Often the knee jerk reaction, even in something as fundamental as growing food, is to protect any knowledge or insight you may have gained to support or further your own business.

Another approach that was explained to me recently, is to share everything with your community, especially the younger generation. The hope being that the return, ripple effect or dividends are far greater than the gatekeeper approach.

RADICALLY TRADITIONAL

The amount of energy we put into raising a potato is staggering and is currently underpinned by chemicals - in other words it’s chemistry based.

A so called ‘organic potato’ that for 10 000 years before the II world war was simply called ‘a potato’, is raised by methods underpinned by biology, human food producing intuition and meaningful tradition.

Did you know,

In Canada we remove the many naturally occurring nutrients in bread etc, including folate, bran, the germ.

‘Somehow’ over time it got regulated that we replace these naturally occurring ingredients with synthetic ingredients called folic acid, supplied by massive pharmaceutical companies like BASF and Jiangxi Tianxin Pharmaceutical Co Ltd.

INNATE INTELLIGENCE (i.i.)

i.i. is this cool thing that allows us to breathe while sleeping without thinking about it. It is why birds just have an i.i. to fly south for winter, calves can walk within 30mins after they are born.

Growing food can sometimes be presented as a super complicated thing, but what I’ve found is that we all have a built in i.i. - and that i.i. is community.
