Sportsmanship- by definition is an ethical approach to competitive activities that emphasizes fairness, self-control, respect, and graciousness in both victory and defeat. What does it mean in real life? This picture says it all. It means being just as proud and excited about your friends accomplishments as your own, whether or not that is a ribbon or an amazing round that culminated a summers worth of hard work. It can mean saying great job to a complete stranger as they come out of the ring. It can mean cheering on other riders or clapping for their rounds and it definitely means being supportive of your team mates. Every show we go to, I'm amazed and so proud of my incredible show team and they way they treat each other and those around them.
