Why Hay Dryers Are Now Essential For Farming
The Marcrest Hay Dryer is a made-in-Ontario system that uses a closed chamber with low-temperature heat and high airflow to dry 18 small square bale bundles at a time.
In Ontario’s often humid and unpredictable climate, this allows us to consistently reach proper moisture levels without weather risks, while skipping the usual post-baling curing process so the hay can be shipped directly out of the dryer.

The hay here turned out fantastic. Even after being cut and lying on the ground, it’s still holding a beautiful deep green color with lots of leafy material. You can really see the quality in this mix. The Timothy and orchard grass blend has plenty of leaves, which is exactly what we hope for.
