We have been really busy lately around the farm and our local school teaching about animals, patience and kindness! We just wrapped up our hatching program with the kindergarten kids and as usual it was so fun and rewarding teaching and showing them the life cycle of a chicken! And like us, they all loved playing with the baby chicks once they were hatched 🥰🐣

Had a great tour tonight with the 1st Callander Sparks, Embers, Guides and Pathfinders! We learned what is involved with raising happy meat, how to care for animals and listening to their wants and needs. How some animals can live happy lives even though they have disabilities just like humans. We learned about kindness, compassion and respect. It was such a lovely evening with a great group of young ladies ☺️

Honestly, they have to be cute because they are so naughty!!! Mister Lucky escaped his pen tonight and was running around the backyard kicking up his heels! No idea how he got out, but he did it!

My brother in law is visiting and he brought his drone with him. As he was taking pictures of the farm with it, the naughty cow got out of his pen. We decided to see if we could use the drone to herd the cow back to its paddock. It works!!! I might need to invest in a drone now 🤣🤣🤣

Poor Frank! Tom Honks hangs out with his wild geese friends all day and Frank the duck just follows them around everywhere like a little sibling. Frank sometimes tries to get the wild ducks to be his friend and that sidetracks him and then he has to run around looking for his BFF Tom but his little legs have to work so hard 💜
