A fourth generation truly sustainable organic farm in Eastport, NL. Central Newfoundland's oldest and only Farm. There are NO chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides used at any stage of production, and there never will be. We produce the vast majority of our own seed, practice regular crop rotation, care for two Newfoundland Ponies and a small flock of chickens (pl

us a dog and cat :)). The practices we use are beyond organic and align more with the new Real Organic Project label currently being developed by small organic producers across NA. We like to term our unique production system as 'Clean, Coastal & Organic'. This system uses only the best local inputs to create the compost that feeds our uniquely sandy soils and in turn our clean, flavourful and healthy food. The farm is striving to be a carbon-positive business via a silvopastoral approach to forest management, unique soil building techniques and low carbon equipment / distribution system. We sell as locally as possible to keep our carbon footprint small and use human-scale production methods to do almost every task involved. We operate an in-season farm stand, run a CSA, and sell at various farmer's markets.
