Join us at Coterie on Thursday, March 26, at 6:00 PM for an evening with Rania Burns, owner of Maven Wine Marketing and Prairie Souls. Prairie Souls is a Canadian wine label celebrating the art and lifestyle of the prairies. It was founded by Rania Burns, an Edmonton high school teacher who successfully balances her career in education with her passion for wine. Rania was educated in Canada and Bordeaux and has extensive sales and marketing experience in the wine industry, ranging from large-scale to estate wineries. Having lived and worked in Bordeaux, Sonoma, Napa, and the Okanagan, she recently began studying winemaking and working in the cellar before launching her own brand, Prairie Souls, in Alberta in 2024. The evening will feature four courses by Chef Earl Briones paired with the Prairie Souls first vintage lineup: the 2022 Chardonnay and the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon. These are internationally sourced, single-varietal vintage wines created in partnership with the Scotto family of Lodi, California.
