Today has been a very emotionally challenging day. It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that I share with all of you that Epicure has closed its doors.
I’m truly beyond heartbroken as I’ve love Epicure’s products for the last 27 years, and of those 7 years I’d taken the leap and said yes to creating a side business that was helping my family financially. As an Educational Assistant, and we were trying to build a family when I started, plus scared of food, and needed to make my health a priority I said yes to this business. And I’ve met so many amazing people, teammates, customers, and foodies, that you all feel like family to me! And I love how we’ve all been sharing our meals and lives together.
Not only was I in love with the products that help me make delicious meals, I was in total awe of a lovely woman who took her spices and created a company. And this same woman, meeting her at my second conference in Las Vegas at the Party in White knew my name, and my Instagram handle. She’s been an idol. And someone who’s shown me how you can take a simple idea and build an empire around it.
Once I know more about what’s going on I will share. For orders coming, shopping that’s been placed and parties, I really hope to know more this week. I’m not sure if financials will be paid back or if orders will be fulfilled.
I want to absolutely thank you all so much for being part of my journey with Epicure, sharing your meals, ideas, and checking in. You all truly fill my heart with joy.
If you’d like to stay connected, please join my VIP group, as I still want to help people with the “What’s for Dinner” dilemma.
