World’s Best Gueuze this year and World’s Best Kriek two years in a row. 🏆🍻

A little context on those names: Gueuze and Kriek are traditional styles of spontaneous b**r from Belgium. While our b**rs compete in these categories, we don’t call them Gueuze or Kriek out of respect for our Belgian friends who have been brewing these b**rs for generations.

That makes it an especially huge honour for a Canadian brewery making spontaneous b**r in Edmonton to take home the top award in both categories at the World B**r Awards.

We’re incredibly proud of these b**rs and very grateful to see them recognized on the world stage.

The Barrel Fest Brewers’ Blend is a celebration of the Canadian brewing community. 🍻

Ahead of Barrel Fest 2025, participating brewers from across the country joined us at Blind Enthusiasm to taste through our spontaneous barrels and create something together.

The result is a blend of 2, 3, 4, and 5-year barrels, reflecting the different perspectives of the brewers involved and our shared commitment to keeping barrel aging and fermentation traditions alive.
