The Barrel Fest 2026 lineup has arrived. 🍻

For the first time, Barrel Fest will feature breweries from outside Canada, alongside some of our favourite barrel-focused producers from across the country.

Every brewery will be represented by the brewers themselves, making the trip to Edmonton to pour beer, answer questions, and share what they're working on.

Beers you won't find anywhere else, poured by the people who made them.

This spontaneous sour was brewed with Cabernet Franc and Riesling pomace, bringing bright wine-like fruitiness, notes of citrus, apple, and raspberry, all wrapped in a lively tart acidity.

We’re launching Fruitful Pursuits Plum at Relish with a guided tasting, featuring three vintages side by side (2019, 2022, and 2024), offering a rare chance to explore how time changes the character of beer.

This intimate tasting is limited to just 12 guests, with plenty of opportunity to chat with a brewer, ask questions, and dive deeper into the world of spontaneous fermentation.

Fruitful Pursuits: Apple 2024 started with a question: what happens when you bring spontaneous fermentation and serious cider expertise together?

Working with our friends at Uncommon Cider, we used whole Ambrosia, Granny Smith, and Macintosh apples from Steve & Dan's Fresh BC Fruit, re-fermented into a blend of one, two, and three year barrels. Using the whole fruit matters, the skins bring coating tannins that give the beer texture alongside the bright, floral apple character and tart, juicy acidity.
