To be completely honest, this cake looked better than it tasted. I made it a while ago but didn’t feel like posting it because I was really disappointed with the way it turned out. I had just made another cake for an order and wanted to try a slightly different recipe and see if that would work. It didn’t. It felt really bad because I was so confident that it would be great and everything but I ended throwing most of it out because the sponge had dried out and it tasted pretty damn bad. .
Why am I posting this? Well it at least looked good and I wasted A LOT of good ingredients for this, so might as well share the experience, right?😝😂🤣

Pineapple cake made for an order.
This cake had two layers of vanilla sponge with a layer of chocolate sponge in the middle. In between the layers, there’s chopped pineapple and a pineapple cream mousse. The cake was topped with whipped cream and white chocolate hearts❣️

This cake had alternating layers of vanilla and chocolate sponge with a condensed milk mousse and lots of strawberries and blackberries in between the layers💗🍓

I know this is far far faaar from perfect, but given the fact that it was the first time ever I tried to make a fondant cake, it still turned out pretty decent.
