Well, that was one heck of a way to celebrate 25 years of the World’s Largest Sausage! 🌭

Pepperoni flying at the parade, a BBQ lineup all the way down the block, kubbie burgers and smokies grilling nonstop… you kept us busy and we loved it!

It was so good seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones and hearing all your stories about this giant sausage over the years.

Thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated with us. We had a blast and couldn’t have asked for a better crowd.

We’re looking for someone with bookkeeping and office administration experience who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy office and production environment.

You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team and a family-owned Alberta brand with a long history, strong community roots, and plenty happening behind the scenes every day!

She’s big, she’s iconic, and she’s turning 25! 🌭🎉
This year, we’re celebrating one of Alberta’s most recognizable landmarks - and we’d love to celebrate with you.

Over the last 25 years, the World’s Largest Sausage has become part of so many memories of Mundare. Families have stopped for road-trip photos, kids have grown up and returned with families of their own, couples have taken wedding photos beneath it - and yes, some people have even tattooed the sausage!

Join us for Mundare Agri-Days on August 15: watch the town parade at 10:30 AM, then stop by Stawnichy’s for a community BBQ at 11:30 AM and snap your own photo with the famous 42-foot sausage.

Jane Stawnichy, known as Baba Jane, has one request: “Come say hello! I’ll be there, and I’d love to see you.” 👋

Therapy is great, but have you ever caught a Stawnichy’s Sausage at a Zabava? 🌭🎉 

Thank you to everyone who showed up, danced, cheered, and joined the legendary Sausage Toss at the Pysanka Festival Zabava. Seeing so many familiar faces (and some impressive catching skills) made our night.

Big thanks to Millenia Musical Ensemble for keeping the celebration going all night. Same time next year?

HELP US FIND WHO BROKE INTO OUR STORE AND BABA JANE WILL GIVE YOU 100 RINGS!!

Our family business has been at this location for nearly 70 years and this is a first.

Last night our Mundare location was broken into by these two wennies.

They smashed the windows and made off with our cash register. No modern business keeps cash in the register so thanks for leaving us with $4,000 in damages for some quarters and dimes.

Baba Jane was very sad she was not able to do her early morning cash out. Don’t anger baba!!!
