We’re hiring a Deli Counter Server for our Edmonton location! 🌭

We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping customers, stays organized and can make people feel welcome at the counter. The position is available full-time or part-time, with the possibility of training in our adjacent restaurant.

Your day-to-day work will include serving customers, preparing orders, keeping the showcase stocked and tidy, checking inventory, taking phone orders, answering questions about our products and helping with daily cleaning.

Stawnichy’s is a family-owned Ukrainian food company that’s been operating in Alberta since 1959. We’re best known for our World Famous Mundare Sausage, but we make more than 80 meat and Ukrainian food products.

Last week we spent the day at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village sharing some Stawnichy’s favourites, handing out samples and spinning the wheel for prizes - from stickers and pins to hats and T-shirts 🙌

Days like this are a good reminder of just how strong and vibrant the Ukrainian community in Alberta is, and how special it is to see so many people come together to celebrate Ukrainian culture and heritage.

A big thank you to UKR-CAN Congress - Alberta and everyone behind Ukrainian Day 2026 for bringing it all together.

HELP US FIND WHO BROKE INTO OUR STORE AND BABA JANE WILL GIVE YOU 100 RINGS!!

Our family business has been at this location for nearly 70 years and this is a first.

Last night our Mundare location was broken into by these two wennies.

They smashed the windows and made off with our cash register. No modern business keeps cash in the register so thanks for leaving us with $4,000 in damages for some quarters and dimes.

Baba Jane was very sad she was not able to do her early morning cash out. Don’t anger baba!!!
